The design for the new building - which is surroundes by heavily used traffic routes and subject to the associated noise and pollution- envisages a microcosm that combines an open working world with zones for concentration and communication inseide a structure that is protected from the outside environment acoustically.
The outer edges of the building fill the entire site, so that the interior open space can be as generously sized as possible. The spatial structure, consisting of layered and interwoven workibg decks, has wide loggias on its long sides that open onto the nner courtyards. The new office building deliberately offers not only efficiency oriented areas but also spaces for thought and recreation that are not directly devoted to profitability.
